Haiti Ministry:
Since 1999, Peg Gaede has been traveling to Haiti, the poorest Third World country in the Western Hemisphere , to offer assistance to the organization Partners with Haiti. Members of our church have partnered with Peg by giving financial support to be used for the ministry of this wonderful organization whose stated purpose since 1981 is “to exalt Jesus Christ by assisting the national evangelical churches in Haiti in preaching and teaching the whole counsel of God and provide social assistance in education, feeding, housing and job creation.”

Our Sunday School classes’ offerings sponsor two children, Samuel and Jennifer, through the Bethany Project, which for $20 monthly, provides education and meals at the Nazon Christian School , part of a network of thirty Christian schools funded through Partners with Haiti .

PWH also runs a program that teaches basic skills to homeless women and has undertaken a number of building projects.

Pray for Peg’s travel safety and clear direction about a possible upcoming long term mission; pray that Samuel and Jennifer would commit their lives to Jesus and benefit from the opportunity for an education.
