It’s pretty hard to not blend in at MCC ... you’ll find all styles of dress from shorts and flip flops to coat and tie. Wear whatever is comfortable to you.
As far as the regulars go, there's not really a predominant style. On an average Sunday you tend to see a lot of jeans and a lot of business casual.
Joyful! That’s the word we believe best describes our gatherings at MCC!
As a multi-generational church, we utilize everything from praise band leadership with a driving beat, to piano accompaniment, to a classical pipe organ. We love to sing ancient hymns, modern hymns, and praise music.
For teaching, you can expect energetic, Christ-centered preaching with a healthy dose of humor. We strive for messages that are expository, which means they are well rooted in the Biblical text.
If you have one, you’re encouraged to bring a Bible in print or on your mobile device. We'd love to offer you a free Bible if you have none. Just ask at the Welcome Desk.
We provide child care for all our major church events. For Sunday morning, this means you’ll find a smiling, fully staffed nursery and Children's Church program, with all volunteers/teachers cleared through state-wide and/or federal background checks. Our children's classrooms are bright, airy, and peanut free.
During the Sunday morning worship service:
- Infants and Toddlers: may be checked into their rooms before the service begins.
- Children 3yrs - 5th Grade: are encouraged to sit with their parents during the first part of the service (kids tend to love the praise music). After about 25 minutes or so, your little ones can be dismissed to Children’s Church (up through 5th grade) while Mom and Dad remain for the teaching time.
- Junior High and Senior High Students: participate in the entire service. To learn more about our vibrant youth groups, click here.
And don’t worry, we have lots of clearly marked volunteers to help you and your kids find anywhere you need to go!
